Another cause can be that teens take friends and thier friendship more serious than their education.Students dont reiliza how important and where school will take them in their future.As pytel said," Many students do not realize the seriousness of their decision to dropout of high school."(2006).Students get so close to their friends that if anything goes wrong betwween them their focuse will be in their problems instead of school.
Other students have problems with surpportive issues.Parentsneed to motivate their children so they can feel more alive as well as intelegent.Family has to suport them in school activities as well.As hanson said " 43% missed to many days to catch,69% not motivated to work hard.(2009)"
Lifestyle is one of the big reasons why teenagers do not graduate. Many latinas join gangs and are deticated to that lifestyle because they believe that will be their only sucess.Gangs put a lot of bad thoughts and gives bad influence and brain washses them to deticate themselves to only that.As Pytel said," Dropouts are more likely to be unemployed,in prison,living in poverty,less healthy, and single parents. Better teachers was also one of the reasons why they were not motivated."students suggest bettter teachers,offer more alternatives,more help with learning,and tutoring.(Pytel 2006)"The school administration needs to do a better job in educating teenagers and how to communicate with them."43% said classes werent interesting and 25% left to become pregnant.(Pytel 2006)".
All of this reasons is one big reason so that all adults,teachers and leaders should take young latinas serious. Now administrative commision have worked on teachers and giving more supportive attitudes.
